Level 3 C&G’s Award in Severing Uprooted or Windblown Trees Using a Chainsaw
Aims of Course:
This course is for people who are required to deal with windblown trees, who have achieved the pre-requisite chainsaw qualifications in this series.
The course provides the knowledge and skills required for learners to be assessed for the regulated qualification: Level 3 Award in Severing Uprooted or Windblown Trees.
Course content:
- Be able to promote Health & Safety and Industry Good Practice
- Be able to operate a winch to control movement of root plates
- Be able to sever uprooted and windblown trees using a chainsaw
